Forest View Crescent Cooperative Apartments are aptly named due to the location overlooking Forest Park . At over 500 acres, Forest Park is one of the largest parks in Queens. Nature enthusiasts will enjoy the native wildlife and trees (some over 150 years old) along the many hiking trails. For the athletes, Forest Park offers a variety of activities including horseback riding, 18 hole golf course, tennis, handball and basketball courts, and of course softball and baseball fields. Kids and families will enjoy the many playgrounds and live music at the bandshell.

Schools

Forest View Crescent resides within school district 24. The local elementary school is PS113 currently serving grades K - 6, soon to include 7th and 8th grade students as well. Recent tests rated 100% of the students performing at grade level or above in math, and 94% reading at grade level or above.
